Abstract

In the digital age, artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping all aspects of human life, including education systems. This theoretical paper addresses the potential impact and directions of the development of the learning process through the integration of AI in the future. First, the growing role of AI as a supporting tool in the personalization of learning is examined, including digital tutors, student data analysis, and adaptive learning. Next, the ethical, social, and pedagogical implications of this development are discussed, with particular emphasis on the transformation of the teacher's role from transmitter of knowledge to guide and mentor. The paper also explores the challenges related to access, professional preparation, and maintaining humanity in learning. Drawing on existing theoretical literature, this study provides a comprehensive overview of how AI can reshape educational practices sustainably and inclusively, reinforcing the importance of a balanced approach between technology and the human dimensions of education.
